Weekend Finds...

Hope all had a wonderful weekend. The summer is going so fast! But then again, it always does! My parents and I took a ride up to New York state to visit a few of our favorite antique shops. On the way we found a wonderful estate sale. It was the third day of the sale, but the old farm house was still full of treasures. Here are a few of my favorites.

My favorite find – little sheets of face powder in a linen case hand painted with pink roses.




A booklet of soap leaves to carry in a purse or pocket

    It is sad to see the napkin rings or the picture not handed down through another generation but also a great find for someone who knows the value of an heirloom. It just make me wonder about all the history behind the all.
